Mumorial is a beautifully crafted honest show, blending humour and poignant memories. It balanced laughter with heartfelt moments, bringing both joy and tears—a touching tribute and memorial to ‘Mum’.
I knew Ribs’ Mum well as I used to work with her so this was a very meaningful show for me. It was a lovely, thoughtful mix of happy memories (I’d forgotten that Sylvia like Warhammer) and humour, which was beautifully told and acted by Ribs. Her love for her Mum was obvious and very touching. So glad I was able to come to see it.
Love Phyll Brown (and Derek)
Both poignant and hilarious, clever and daft, Ribs absolutely smashed it in her Mumorial. A must see for anyone with a love of quirky comedy
A witty, funny, touching, memorable and very apt show remembering Sylvia, thank you Ribs
Ribs’ one woman show captured the searing pain of loss alongside moments of the pure joy of remembering. Written for her own mother, the audience could feel her story alongside their own, guided with a lightness of touch and humour to hold us together in our humanity. Ribs’ performance was warm and honest, with a rawness of emotion transformed into hope. A hope of love. We love on. We must!
Loved the openness and honesty of this show. A perfect mix of funny and poignant. A beautifully fitting tribute to your mum Ribs
I loved the show, it was both fun and rather sad. Very much made me think about my own relationship with my mum.
Ribs had an endearing way of delivering her stories and we as an audience were very invested in listening to them.
What a lovely thing to do for a parent x
The mix that I always love- funny and sad. Imaginative and inventive and a great tribute to a much missed mum
Poignant and amusing, what an achievement. I had some trepidation about the topic, however, I was really impressed at the delivery of this sensitive area and enjoyed hearing about Ribs’s mum. I would never guessed the War Hammer.
